Watch out OS X users, Royal TSX Version 0.5.2.1 is out and brings an exciting new feature: Support for installing multiple plugins for the same connection type.

Why is this important?

Because it means that we can provide different plugins for a single connection type that may support different protocol features.

Still not sure why this might be important to YOU?

With the release of Version 0.5.2.1 we also published a new RDP plugin based on FreeRDP. This plugin has many improvements over the previous rdesktop/CoRD based plugin.

Some of the improvements include:

• Support for Network Level Authentication (NLA)
• TLS encryption
• Improved Clipboard redirection
• Improved Drive redirection
• RemoteFX

Other features like Terminal Services Gateway (TSG) are currently being worked on and will be available in a future release.
